The Degeneration of Expression

Goffman Intro, Degenerative Actions, and Systemic Degeneration
Q. What gives me any credibility to speak about matters of intelligence and intelligence operations?
A. According to Erving Goffman, a copy of an intelligence operation would still tell us a great deal about how the real thing may work.

An operative in the field, lives out their lives as their ‘cover character’ for the duration of their assignment. Their actions are no longer ‘their own’. Actions they take become their ‘character’s actions’.

Recently, I have been focused on the fictional aspects that were a large component of my programming. This time, we’ll chart through more empirical waters that also figured into my programming.

This is the second episode in the Erving Goffman inspired podcast series. Discussions continue from the introductory episode called Tacit Moves

Correction: I said I was working on reading through occupational therapy. However, I was working on reading more under speech language pathology during my recovery.

This is the article I mentioned where I learned to mediate after my programming suddenly ended:
Equanimity
I also referenced this article for what my programmed ‘EXPRESSIONS’ where like while I was programmed:
Reflection on being Programmed
I mentioned the article Mr. Robot
I also talked about The Observers in my programming

In each instance, at each mission, the General’s operation is both targeting and ‘altering the very ground on which the assessments take place on:
D-Day and M-Day (Legal)
Operation TM (Medical)
The Easy Mitchell Assignment (Targeting of a medical institution as a whole)

Who was Erving Goffman?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erving_Goffman
Goffman books that I mentioned:
The Presentation of Self in Everyday Life
Strategic Interaction
“The first essay addresses EXPRESSION GAMES, in which a participant spars to discover the value of information given openly or unwittingly by another. The author uses vivid examples from espionage literature and high-level political intrigue to show how people mislead one another in the information game. Both OBSERVER and OBSERVED create evidence that is false and uncover evidence that is real”
Also relevant to this episode:
Dramaturgy (Sociology)
Microsociology
Interpretivism
Double Agent
An example of an intelligence agent being sentenced to death after being uncovered is Eli Cohen. (His story was depicted in the Netflix series The Spy)

DEGENERACY in intelligence games can best be seen in discussions over the links between intelligence agencies and the Jeffery Epstein sex-trafficking operation:
https://unlimitedhangout.com/2019/10/investigative-series/former-israeli-intel-official-claims-jeffrey-epstein-ghislaine-maxwell-worked-for-israel/
“For those who have examined Epstein’s ties to intelligence, there are clear links to both U.S. intelligence and Israeli intelligence, leaving it somewhat open to debate as to which country’s intelligence apparatus was closest to Epstein and most involved in his blackmail/sex-trafficking activities. A recent interview given by a former high-ranking official in Israeli military intelligence has claimed that Epstein’s sexual blackmail enterprise was an Israel intelligence operation run for the purpose of entrapping powerful individuals and politicians in the United States and abroad”
